Ritual plays an integral role in maintaining community, self-discovery, mastery, and establishing a deeper connection to our ancestors. Ritual allows us to connect with
the self and community.

CEREMONY

Ceremony is a practice in which we call spirit to be the driving force and overseer of our activities. It is a way for us to find our way to wholeness, peace, self-acceptance, and acceptance of others.

Set in paradise, each space captures breathtaking views inspired by nature to immerse yourself into a sanctuary. Our meals are sourced locally and connected to tradition and community.

  • We do not include travel insurance as everyone’s needs are different. However, having travel insurance in place for each person is a condition of your booking. Please ensure COVID-19 cover is included. If you haven’t purchased cover yet, you can do so here:

    All sales are final, and the Company does not offer any money-back guarantees. You recognize and agree that you shall not be entitled to a refund for any purchase under any circumstances.

  • We reserve the right to cancel or postpone Black Girl Magik’s Awaken or related event(s) in our sole discretion. If we cancel or postpone AWAKEN Retreat or event, we will use reasonable efforts to reschedule the canceled or postponed AWAKEN Retreat or event in a reasonable time from its original start date.

    Registration fees paid by registrants for a canceled or postponed AWAKEN Retreat shall apply to the rescheduled AWAKEN Retreat on dollar for dollar basis only. In the event for whatever reason Black Girl Magik can not reschedule AWAKEN Retreat or event, the registrant will be offered a case-by-case refund. If this occurs, our responsibility is limited to a refund of which may include any registration fee(s) already paid. Black Girl Magik is not responsible for airline tickets, other tickets or payments, or any similar fee penalties or related or unrelated losses, costs and/or expenses registrant may incur or have incurred as a result of any trip cancellations or changes. Please allow sixty (90) days for us to process any refunds or credit changes.

    AWAKEN Retreat dates and locations are subject to change without prior notice. Black Girl Magik reserves the right to change any and all speakers and programming for AWAKEN Retreat or event without notice.

    Black Girl Magik reserves the right to decline a participant from attending a retreat if behavior demonstrate to be a safety threat to safe environment we are creating.
